Mr. Gabriel Merino Fausto is widely recognized both in society and in Tijuana in the Maquila Industry in Mexico as a person with broad moral and economic solvency.

During this long career path, he has established several major companies in the Maquiladora sector such as Douglas Furniture, Robinson & Robinson, Thompson Multi-Media, Wilshire International, KOJO Worldwide Corporation, and others, which have resulted in multi-million dollar investments and have achieved all their objectives and profitability in this sector.

He has perfected financial operations to support these companies to achieve significant growth not only in productivity but in the financial sector.

Currently owns our consulting firm for foreign investors (MBS) Mexico Business Solutions, as a Business Advisory Board to various corporate groups, and has served as National Council member for the CNIME (Consejo Nacional de la Industria Maquiladora de Exportacion).

He was recently elected President of AIMO (Asociacion de Industriales de la Mesa de Otay) in Tijuana.

KOJO WORLDWIDE CORPORATION

Draperies & Bedspreads for the Hotel Industry.
Set up a 30,000 m2 production facility in Rosarito, Baja California, after closing a 400,000 ft2 production facility in Orlando Florida, Dallas Texas, and Huntington Beach, California.
Responsible for incorporating charts, location, and hiring Managers and to develop the domestic market in Mexico.
Expansion in Mexico’s South-east, with three additional plants in Quintana Roo (40,000 m2), Yucatán (1,500 m2) & Campeche (5,000 m2).

Started with only Laboratory and test equipment.
Grew into a 1,000,000 glove production in one year.
Expanded and installed the second manufacturing line.
Build and supervised the clean room operation process.
Generated $2,000,000 US in revenue in 2 years.

THOMSON DISPLAY MEXICANA, S.A. DE C.V.
Front End Manager.
CRT Manufacturing Plant
Part of the initial engineering team in charge of plant set up: 1´000,000 ft2.
Responsible for areas such as metallic mask, CRT automated manufacturing, Mixed Chemicals Laboratory, In-process water treatment plant & clean room.
Responsible for materials optimization & production efficiency of those areas.
Increased productivity at 4,500 CRT per day.
Responsible of Budgets, Administration and Production.
3 Shifts and 3 Responsible at supervisor levels, under my responsibility.
